Today there has been a very interesting session inside “The Domino Dozen“:

Barry Rosen and Rashelyn Doromal showed which enhancements can be
expected post Domino V12:

they showed different mail clients ( Outlook, Apple Mail, Web browsers )
connecting to a HCL Domino V12+ server without any additional software !!

HCL is using JMAP for this great extension – but why JMAP ?

> Developer friendly
> Open API Standard
> IMAP with cool and “State of the Art” extensions
> Unlike IMAP there´s no need for a persistent connection with JMAP
> Efficient use of network resources
> Reducing HTTP requests
