Last week I installed VoP 2.0 on multiple domino environments. In one environment I faced the issue that I always received the following error message when opening the locally installed VoP Web Client:

“Unable to load folders over network”

I took a look at the Developer Source in Google Chrome and could see the following error messages among other entries:

• folderController error: Folders are not available, folder controller promise rejected for unknown reasons., SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘
• Error occurs when fetching folder data: SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘
• Failed to get offline user context when load applications from appregsitry SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘

After opening a case @ HCL I received the very helpful entry for the NOTES.INI:

DOMINO_FORCE401_WITH_HTML_LOGIN_PAGE=1

After setting this NOTES.INI entry and restarting the HTTP server everything was running fine. Thanks a lot for the quick and helpful support to HCL Support ( especially to Sudhir Kunale who was working in this case ).
