Today I ran into an issue that I could not populate some LDAP entries to the PEOPLEDB. After some investigation I found out, that some values displayed in the Data Studio are not corresponding to the “original” length, how the tables are created with the DB2Wizard.

Here are the screenshot of the fields from the Data Studio and the corresponding entry from the “peopledb.db2” creation file how the fields are created:

PROF_MAIL: VARCHAR(64)

PROF_MAIL_LOWER: VARCHAR(64)

BUILDING_IDENTIFIER: VARCHAR(16)

DEPARTMENT_NUMBER:
VARCHAR(16)
