During an upgrade to HCL Sametime 12.0.2FP2 one of my colleagues was facing 2 issues – one is already very well documented by one of the HCL Ambassadors Roberto Boccadoro:

And another issue was that after the upgrade older Notes Clients ( 12.0.1 have been used by the customer ) clients could not successfully connect to the HCL Sametime environment with SSO. There’s a technote from HCL that LTPA1 tokens have been disabled with 12.0.2FP1.
But you can fix this issue by either upgrade your HCL Notes Clients ( which is highly recommended ) or by re-enabling LTPAV1 this way:
– Stop Sametime Services
– Add “LTPA_ENABLE_V1_TOKENS=true” to the custom.env
– Start Sametime Services
Afterwards also the older clients have been able to connect to the upgraded HCL Sametime environment with SSO.
