How to get your current HCL Notes version

If you want to know which version of HCL Notes including FixPacks, Interim Fixes,… you are using you don’t have to start your HCL Notes Client. Just open a command line windows, change to the installation folder of HCL Notes ( e.g. c:\hcl\notes ) and enter one of the following commands:

nsd -version
C:\HCL\Notes>nsd -version
NSD Version : 12.00.0200.2306 (Release 12.0.2)

or

notes -v c:\temp\notesversion.txt
Then the output is written to the txt file
