Sametime Office Integration consists of several features:
- Office Integration: allows users to use Sametime chat features from Microsoft Office products. It is included in the Sametime Connect and Sametime embedded client for Windows, but you must enable it before users can take advantage of the feature.
- Meeting Integrator: allows users to schedule Sametime meetings from Microsoft Office products. The Meeting Integrator must be installed and configured.
- SharePoint Integration: allows users to collaborate with coworkers who use a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server as their instant messaging application. SharePoint Integration must be installed and configured.
TLS support for clients
- TLS (Transport Layer Security) support was added to the Sametime Community Server and Sametime Community MUX for client connections.
Community widgets for use with IBM Connections.
- The Chat Rooms widget displays a list of Sametime chat rooms and allows a user to enter a chat room directly from Connections. The Meeting Rooms widget displays a list of Sametime meeting rooms and allows a user to join a meeting directly from Connections.
