If you want to have additional informations about the connecting clients including the version of the connecting client, the number of databases and documents accessed and also the IP address in your LOG.NSF on the Domino Server, you just have to set a specific setting in the NOTES.INI:
set conf Log_Sessions=2
Afterwards you can see the following entries in your LOG.NSF:
